I can't wait until CHRISTMAS.
I'm almost as bad as the kids in the kindergarden at this point. :D
Anywho...
Last monday I went to school with Lena!
We had two hours of biotech (awesome), two hours of german (lots of fun), again two hours of biotech (again awesome) and then two hours of math which were pretty relaxed because the teacher was explaining something I liked.
It was a lot of fun, but also really impressive.
All of the students use computers to take notes. (Except math for drawing stuff.)
Seriously. I was the only one using pen and paper. I'm so old school. :'D
And the teachers didn't write on a blackboard. They had a SMART board. Hook up a projector and a pc with it and you can write on the board and it is saved on the computer and stuff like that. Can scroll down with your finger on the board it's bloody awesone.
Probably insanely expensive so it could take a while before we see these in German public schools, but totally awesome.
Internet access everywhere for free inside the school with plugs everywhere for the laptops.
A downside to the laptop thing though: I noticed several people surfing the net during
class instead of paying attention.
And the whole classroom atmosphere was so relaxed. Even though I was a bit shy of the other students (and they were shy of me) I felt really comfortable there. Almost hygge. The students I did talk to were also really nice. :)
To sum it up:
IT WAS SO MUCH FUN I WANT TO GO AGAIN!!!!!!
...I say for the first time after completing 13 years of school. :'D
The sunday before I went to school I went to Den Gamle By with Jens, Britt and Kaya.
Den Gamle By is literally translated the old city. They preserved and restorated old houses from the 1700's to the 1970's in this area of Aarhus and it's like a really big museum. They had a small Weihnachtsmarkt inside (what the Danes call a Weihnachtsmarkt ;) ) and in general it was just lovely.
We left early in the morning when the sun was just rising (8:00-ish) so I was a bit sleepy when we left. ;)
The line to get into den Gamle By. Moved quickly though. :)
Written Madam Blaa, but said Madam Blo. I was amaused by the thought of saying it blaa though. XD
Kaya wanted to walk so I was pushing around Bamse instead. :D
Getting coffee and hot chocolate. :3
Afterwards we walked a little in Aarhus (and got lunch) and then visited Jens' sister Christina and Bjarke.
Plus they have an awesome view from their apartment. :D
After THAT we went to a town that is known for one street that has extravagant christmas decorations. I was impressed, but I had seen American ones when I was little. No one can top American extravagance. XD
I have a video, but blogspot won't let me post it. D:
Then have some pictures of me making Mustrapper and some kindergarden pics. :)
I was teasing Nicolai. It's a long story. XD
Looks like such fun!
