Now I am back though!
I took a bunch of pictures meanwhile and I'll post these with comments about what I've been doing since the last time I posted anything.
First a lot of pictures from work at the beginning of October.
Goofing off for the camera. :D
There was a big puddle in front of the playground in the parking lot of the kindergarden.
On this day we had the kids run as many laps as they could for something like Fitness Day. They had fun and I had fun watching them and my coworkers run. >:D
MY HAT!
I must admit though he looks cool in it...
Also right after this I let him play with my camera for a bit and he took some really good pictures after I showed him how so until I mention it again he took all of the following pictures.
This is where I took over again. :)
The following is the weekend before fall vacation and Lena and I went for a walk together with Mille my host families dog. It was fun. :D
She moved out of the picture last minute! >:(
After the walk I stayed overnight at Lenas where we watched youtube videos (mostly spacefrogs) and anime (entirely naruto).
I was joking around with Jens about cars so I created a pink ferrari. If it even is a ferrari. I don't even know. XD
Gold star if you get the reference below. If not type the text into youtube and watch it. XD
Pink, fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows...
A different day at work. The boy and girl loved having their pics taken while running. Why I don't know. :D
Starting here was fall vacation. It was so awesome! We never had more than 12 kids (compared to the usual 25-28) and on one day we were only six kids with four adults. At one point two of the kids got picked up early and my one coworker left so I was told to go home early. I WON'T ARGUE WITH THAT! XD
It was really, really relaxed then.
Vacation is over and we go into the forest below the kindergarden.
Winnie updating the facebook photo album for he kindergarden. Aaaand noticing I'm taking puctures of her. ;D
Nikolai noticing I'm taking pics of him. XD
Showing the kids Minecraft. Every kindergarden should. :D
This dino rocks. Even if the tail broke off. I wish I had a dino toy like that when I was little. *looks at mom and dad pointedly*
Went for a short walk with Jens, Kaya, Mille and partially Max.
Sisse came to help out in the kindergarden. :)
Dennis showed me a game and we played it with the kids and Nikolai created his own card for the game. "Harry Potter". Dennis argued it was overpowered. Nikolai and I agreed that because it was Harry Potter it was fine. XD
The kids from the nursery came over for aftermiddagsmal. Including Kaya.
I went on another walk. :'D
I went birthday/christmas shopping with Britt in Vejle. Saw a few... INTERESTING things.
Like a neon bike.
And an apotek where I at first thought it said love instead of löve which is something completely different. XD
Here I thought I could bike to Jelling with my host father. 32km roundtrip it would have been, but after six I decided I couldn't deal with the ups and downs of the hills on the way. We took a longer way back and came up with a total of 16km.
Now I mentioned hills. Denmark on average is pretty flat and low. However the area I'm in has some low hills that tend to have steeper inclines. Oh woe is me... :'D
The building below was at a lake that Jens and I biked around.
THIS was last sunday. I went into Vejle with Lena to just hang out which was a lot of fun. Even if towards the end I was really feverish. :'D
Yay fevers.
Lena told me the towers in the back are called the five sisters. But there are only four towers total. No one could tell her why. :D
I got apple juice, but it was kind of... um... dickflüssig... I don't know how else to describe it. Don't know a proper english word for it either...
WE GOT NACHOS. :D
TAKING PICTURES BECAUSE WE CAN. LIKE A BOSS.
Lenas school! :)
The day before halloween all through the land; not a creature was stirring; not even a hand...
Wow I'm SO creative.
We are prepping for halloween tomorrow (/today for those of you reading this friday) at the kindergarden and I was startled today to find a hand hanging from the ceiling. (I came back today from a three day sick leave due to the fever mentioned above.) All in all a bit startled by how much the rooms changed to a halloween theme. :D
FUN OUTSIDE.
Pumpkin bread. :3
D'AWWWW... <3
A birthday hence the flag. If you see a bunch of flags gathered anywhere in Denmark there is probably a birthday going on. Or someone is coming home from a long trip. The danes love to have their flag everywhere. :D
HUGE cake pieces.
THOSE GOOF-OFFS
